Will Stanhope Spanks the Monkey

I just finished reading Will Stanhope’s latest blog post. I’ve gotta do my part and spread the word: Will sent the East Face of Smith Rock’s Monkey Spire this weekend! I’ve written about how amazing Will is before, but this takes it to a new level. Congratulations Will! You prove that hard work does pay off. It sounds like he made his ascent Trotter style by placing all gear on lead – no bolts – with the thought of 50 foot screamers messing with his mind. Damn… that shit is so awesome…
